The kick-off meeting of the Glyco@Club was organized in DCM Grenoble on 9th of february 2023 for PhD students, post-docs and young researchers who are interested in Glycosciences. More than 20 participants enjoyed this first opportunity to meet each other in 2023.

After a general presentation of the activity of Glyco@Alps by Romain Vives, Christelle Breton introduced the Glyco@Club. This was followed by seven flash presentation from the young participants who could present their research projects, giving a fine fiew of the interdisciplinarity of our network, from chemistry to biology and materials for housing !

Serge Pérez gave a an introduduction lecture to Glycosciences : "Sugar for the dummies" presenting all facets of carbohydrates from monosaccharides to polysaccharides and glycoconjugates

After the lunch, and the informal discussion, the PhD students received information about the doctoral college of UGA.  The next events will be organized by the young researchers for seminars, social events and glyco@days
