Fête de la Science 2024

This year, Labex Arcane and Glyco@Alp presented a joint workshop focusing on the work of Carolyn R. Bertozzi, who was awarded a Nobel Prize in 2022 for the development of click chemistry and bio-orthogonal chemistry. It's an opportunity to highlight the role of women in science!

Visitors could discover  the basics of click chemistry and take part in the building blocks of molecules able to defeat cancer. Click chemistry enables complex molecules to be assembled quickly and efficiently. Find out more about click chemistry, its most innovative applications in the field of medicine, and the place of women in science.

Several of the young researchers from the  Glyco@Club were involved in this event, and they did a wonderful job !!
