Structural GLycoscience Summer School 2023

From June 5, 2023 to June 7, 2023

summer school

Glyco@Club is pleased to announce the Structural Glycoscience Summer School that will be hold at CERMAV and IBS from June 5 to 7 2023. More than 50 applications were received and the organizers are currently selecting the candidates.

The 2023 edition of the Structural Glycosciences Summer School will be held from 5 to 7 of June at IBS on EPN campus and at CERMAV on UGA campus. The Summer School is co-organized by the Glyco@Alps CDP project from Idex UGA and the COST Actions INNOGLY and GlycoNanoProbes. Glycoscience is a rapidly expanding and exciting field that is relevant to many areas of chemistry, biology and medicine. Structures of Glycan or Protein/Glycans complexes are of direct importance since they are key structural elements in cell and in signaling events on their surface.
The workshop will introduce and train young scientists, from a chemistry or biology background, in the most up-to-date approaches for determining the structural and dynamic properties of carbohydrates, glycan binding receptors, and analysis of their complexes. Young researchers from Grenoble and the whole of Europe will have conferences from international speakers. They will participle to hands-on in modeling and experimental techniques, and a visit to ESRF will be organized if possible.

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED  due to high number of candidatures received before March 15th.

Some grants are available from COST Action INNOGLY and GlycoNanoProbes - (deadline was  March 15)
