A look back at the Structural Glycoscience summer school (16-18 June 2025 at IBS & CERMAV)

More than 30 PhD students from different European countries gathered to take part in a programme consisting of theoretical insights and practical workshops, as well as visits to laboratories and beamlines at the ESRF.

The lectures were delivered by members of the local glycoscience community, as well as by external speakers from European universities, such as Frédérique Lisacek (Swiss Bioinformatic Institute, CH), Jesus Angulo (Universidad de Sevilla, ES), Elisa Fadda (University of Southampton, UK) and Raoul de Groot (Utrecht University, NL).

The young researchers also had the opportunity to present their work in a poster session, as well as connect with speakers and peers at informal social events organised throughout the event.
